Once again, there were no alternative jigheads for Flying Lures, and Id suspect that, like me, not many anglers bothered re-ordering heads when the stock that came with the first kit got lost or bent out too badly
Fish care is a must, so do bring a fold down net, ideally with a rubberised or latex mesh (extracting lures from a conventional net mesh can be a nightmare), a compact mat that folds easily, and your unhooking tools including long nose forceps and a set of hook cutters, just in case you need to cut the hooks to remove your lure
You can even store small lures in them
As for material, I have been switching from traditional mono to fluoro (leader fluoro and mainline fluoro), and I cant tell a difference between any of them even when using traditional mono fishing in the very clear Biscayne Bay waters in the middle of the day: 2) The same lures work well down there too
